SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Salesforce.com Developer role at Arrow International will be geared towards understanding our current application and business needs and implementing exciting new solutions and processes using the Salesforce platform. The developer must be passionate about solving business challenges and determining solutions for potential clients and internal customers. This position will analyze, design, develop, configure, integrate and launch new solutions and changes to existing solutions.

Design and develop new technical solutions on the Salesforce platform. Maintain, enhance, and modernize existing Salesforce features. Integrate/migrate existing tools to the Salesforce platform. Work with Product Managers to prioritize features. Use solid communication skills (oral and written) to translate user requests into creative and effective technical designs. Create innovative front-end UIs that are simple, intuitive, and efficient. Monitor performance and scalability and refactor existing sub-optimal features. Clearly communicate recommendations for how to leverage new Salesforce technology.

EDUCATION:

  • BS Degree in a related field and/or extensive experience in web development including Salesforce.com, Apex, Visualforce, HTML5, SQL, CSS and Java

Staff Accountant

LOCATION: Cleveland, OH

SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Staff Accountant will provide accurate and timely processing of intercompany transactions and support the process of the issuing of consolidated financial statements for Arrow International. Also, this position records transactions to and controls the intercompany balance sheet accounts for 10 entities in multiple currencies. In addition, this person will assist the Budget Manager by providing detailed analysis of spending for 4 of the entities and will assist with the development of the annual budget.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting procedures, ensuring strong internal controls
  • Review the departmental spending details to ensure that expenses are appropriately classified, charged to the proper period, posted to the correct G/L account, and are accurate
  • Assist in preparing monthly, accurate financial statements by the fifth day of the subsequent month
  • Reconcile the intercompany transactions involving the General Ledgers and subledgers
  • Provide special analysis and projects as requested
  • Participate in annual physical inventory with minimal travel requirements
  • Assist with calculation of Sales & Use tax returns as required
  • Assist with annual audit conducted by external public accounting firm

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a major in Accounting
  • CPA, MBA, or CMA is a plus
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting for a manufacturing company
  • Knowledge of mainframe and PC accounting packages

Regional Sales Manager – Eastern Region

Cleveland, Ohio based sales position requiring extensive travel to multiple states within assigned territory. Must be a ‘road warrior" used to 75% + travel, willing to learn the business, and meet face to face with customers within large and small markets.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work closely with distributors/sales representatives to build rapport and obtain working knowledge of the purposed market.
  • Maintain and grow market share with in the distributor and purposed territory.
  • Promote new products; obtain feedback on product strengths and weaknesses to gather ideas for improvements and new products.
  • Work closely with product management and marketing on new product development
  • Work closely with customer service to resolve product and delivery issues.

Sales Representative / VFW Market

LOCATION: Cleveland Ohio

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Sell and tele-network to all customers with a strong focus on VFW and American Legion market east of the Mississippi River. Contact customers; promote pull tab products and sell gaming products. This is a high output position involving daily contact with customers, sales, marketing, and customer service. The focus is on selling, developing relationships, finding current product to satisfy the needs of the customers. Vet-only should apply.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prospect and sell products to all VFW and American Legion accounts in assigned territory.
  • Persistence will be a key factor in the success of this position as relationships will need to be cultivated
  • Work with the New Game Manager/Coordinators and Sales Managers to solicit business and handle orders and print requests from larger accounts as needed
  • Develop new sales strategies from customer feedback
  • E- Mail lists and games, fax information and get the order after determining the needs of customers
  • Use and promote the Universal and Arrow Websites – train accounts on how to find specific products, remain current on new product offerings
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Call reports should be recapped weekly.
  • Significant travel required for sales call and specific trade shows

REQUIREMENTS:

Materials Analyst - Manager

LOCATION: Cleveland, Ohio

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manages product planning, materials planning, inventory analysis and planning, outsourcing and expediting.
  • Leads materials flow and cost requirements / reduction initiatives in a proactive manner. Establishes MRP / supply chain schedules and devises methods to achieve cost effective and efficient movement of material to ensure optimal asset turnover while meeting manufacturing material requirements.
  • Analyzes material cost variances, identifies root cause of discrepancies and provides effective corrective action.
  • Participates during the design and development of new products, ensuring supply chain capability and capacity. Defines and keys MRP data required for all new products including product structures, routes, account codes, report sort codes, database codes and pricing codes.
  • Keys data into MRP system to ensure / improve data integrity and information needed to manage the operation. Assist with the maintenance of the MRP data base. Writes system documentation that details standards for data. Publishes data changes that impact operations and reports.
  • Monitors MRP software used for product entry, consumption and reporting. This includes master file maintenance, bill of materials, forecasts, route and work center maintenance, production order status, transfer order status and inventory audits.
  • Supplies managers with supporting information as pertains to the daily operation and decision making process. Trains employee to correctly enter new products and maintain correct products where required.
  • Interfaces and coordinates between manufacturing, engineering, finance and suppliers regarding components and schedule changes. Works with production manager to reduce their administrative workload by investigating and recommending computerization, where appropriate.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS) in Business or related field – or equivalent combination of education and experience.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 7+ years of experience in managing inventory, scheduling, forecasting, procurement and planning.
  • Must have strong analytical ability – able to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
  • Must have knowledge of turn rates, key inventory performance metrics, and margin contributions.
  • Must be able to develop and coordinate projects, project plans within budget.
  • Must have experience in Microsoft products and MRP software.

Operations Supervisor

LOCATION: Edmonton, Alberta Canada

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Our Edmonton, Alberta distribution center is seeking an Operations Supervisor. This position coordinates the day-to-day interface between sales and shipping and oversees management of the office and warehouse.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervises two Shipping/Warehouse employees.
  • Ensures phones are answered and customer needs are met.
  • Ensures customer orders are expedited to Cleveland for processing.
  • Provides day to day management of the office and warehouse.
  • Answers product and service questions to customers; suggesting information about other products and services.
  • Opens and maintains customer accounts by recording account information.

Production Supervisor

LOCATION: Cleveland, Ohio

SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of a 25-30 person production line, inclusive of cutting, labeling, stamping and packing product. General supervisor tasks include training, direction, assistance, appraisals, and discipline of assigned production associates.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervising hourly associates and overseeing daily production schedule on a high volume printed product packaging line.
  • Organizing, assigning, instructing and directing the daily tasks of production employees and ensuring those tasks are completed efficiently and with great attention to quality.
  • Ensuring that production areas are properly staged, inventory is stocked, and notifies the proper department when stock reaches designated minimum levels.
  • Maintaining and enforcing department standards including safety and regulations, supporting continuous improvement, teaching productivity techniques and monitoring progress.
  • Assist with the performance management of line associates (performance appraisals and reviews, discipline, training, recommendations, etc.).

EXPERIENCE:

Bingo King/Trade Products, based in Lynnwood, WA, is a division of Arrow International, the largest manufacturer of charitable and social gaming products in the industry. We are seeking a Manufacturing Manager to provide leadership and direction to a manufacturing team of 120 associates including training, direction, assistance, appraisals, and discipline of assigned production associates.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide leadership and direction to the manufacturing team of roughly 120 associates
  • Manage the manufacturing scheduling process to meet the customer’s expectation, by optimizing plant resources in order to complete assigned tasks.
  • Manage product run requirements to assure compliance to customer specifications while optimizing plant resources.
  • Manage labor utilization to assure meeting or exceeding task expectations.
  • Manage product schedule timelines to assure meeting customer demand and scheduling resources, and setting daily priorities.
  • Review manufacturing and operating reports and resolve operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, quality specifications, safety standards and sanitation practices.
