Production Supervisor

LOCATION: Cleveland, Ohio

SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of a 25-30 person production line, inclusive of cutting, labeling, stamping and packing product. General supervisor tasks include training, direction, assistance, appraisals, and discipline of assigned production associates.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervising hourly associates and overseeing daily production schedule on a high volume printed product packaging line.
  • Organizing, assigning, instructing and directing the daily tasks of production employees and ensuring those tasks are completed efficiently and with great attention to quality.
  • Ensuring that production areas are properly staged, inventory is stocked, and notifies the proper department when stock reaches designated minimum levels.
  • Maintaining and enforcing department standards including safety and regulations, supporting continuous improvement, teaching productivity techniques and monitoring progress.
  • Assist with the performance management of line associates (performance appraisals and reviews, discipline, training, recommendations, etc.).
  • Work closely with HR Department to interview, hire, and cross-train new reports.
  • Responsible for the cleanliness and orderliness of work areas to a 5S standard.
  • Responsible for the enforcement of company safety policies and compliance with OSHA standards and regulations.

EXPERIENCE:

  • BS/BA in a technical or manufacturing related field.
  • 2+ years of experience supervising 20+ direct reports in a high volume, labor intensive, packaging, or light assembly environment.
  • Understanding of production planning and process flow in a manufacturing environment.
  • High attention to detail, quality control, and continuous improvement.
  • Prior leadership training, mentoring, or coaching training is a plus.
  • Strong communications and leadership skills.
  • Highly organized

Staff Accountant

LOCATION: Cleveland, OH

SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Staff Accountant will provide accurate and timely processing of intercompany transactions and support the process of the issuing of consolidated financial statements for Arrow International. Also, this position records transactions to and controls the intercompany balance sheet accounts for 10 entities in multiple currencies. In addition, this person will assist the Budget Manager by providing detailed analysis of spending for 4 of the entities and will assist with the development of the annual budget.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting procedures, ensuring strong internal controls
  • Review the departmental spending details to ensure that expenses are appropriately classified, charged to the proper period, posted to the correct G/L account, and are accurate
  • Assist in preparing monthly, accurate financial statements by the fifth day of the subsequent month
  • Reconcile the intercompany transactions involving the General Ledgers and subledgers
  • Provide special analysis and projects as requested
  • Participate in annual physical inventory with minimal travel requirements
  • Assist with calculation of Sales & Use tax returns as required
  • Assist with annual audit conducted by external public accounting firm

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a major in Accounting
  • CPA, MBA, or CMA is a plus
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting for a manufacturing company
  • Knowledge of mainframe and PC accounting packages
  • Work Hours may include occasional Saturday

 


Regional Sales Manager – Eastern Region

LOCATION: Cleveland Ohio

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Cleveland, Ohio based sales position requiring extensive travel to multiple states within assigned territory. Must be a ‘road warrior" used to 75% + travel, willing to learn the business, and meet face to face with customers within large and small markets.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work closely with distributors/sales representatives to build rapport and obtain working knowledge of the purposed market.
  • Maintain and grow market share with in the distributor and purposed territory.
  • Promote new products; obtain feedback on product strengths and weaknesses to gather ideas for improvements and new products.
  • Work closely with product management and marketing on new product development
  • Work closely with customer service to resolve product and delivery issues.
  • Establish sales goals; closes the sale

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sales Management or related field
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in outside sales with extensive travel out of state, about 75% of the time
  • Previous route sales experience is a plus
  • Must have strong selling skills with an aggressive attitude towards sales promotion and growth
  • Proven ability to build strong customer relationships, expand existing markets, as well as pursuing new customers

Sales Representative / VFW Market

LOCATION: Cleveland Ohio

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Sell and tele-network to all customers with a strong focus on VFW and American Legion market east of the Mississippi River. Contact customers; promote pull tab products and sell gaming products. This is a high output position involving daily contact with customers, sales, marketing, and customer service. The focus is on selling, developing relationships, finding current product to satisfy the needs of the customers. Vet-only should apply.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prospect and sell products to all VFW and American Legion accounts in assigned territory.
  • Persistence will be a key factor in the success of this position as relationships will need to be cultivated
  • Work with the New Game Manager/Coordinators and Sales Managers to solicit business and handle orders and print requests from larger accounts as needed
  • Develop new sales strategies from customer feedback
  • E- Mail lists and games, fax information and get the order after determining the needs of customers
  • Use and promote the Universal and Arrow Websites – train accounts on how to find specific products, remain current on new product offerings
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Call reports should be recapped weekly.
  • Significant travel required for sales call and specific trade shows
  • Identify quality concerns and ensure they are addressed as information becomes available

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be a military Veteran
  • 3+ years successful field sales or telesales experience
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Excellent phone skills
  • Ability to handle questions, complaints and a multitude of issues simultaneously
  • Charitable Gaming industry experience is a plus; club sales experience to VFW, Eagles, Legions, etc. will be extremely helpful
  • PC literate with email, Excel and Word
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; sense of urgency is essential

Manufacturing Process Engineer

JOB SUMMARY:

This role requires strong engineering experience with specific expertise in manufacturing process design and quality sciences. In collaboration with cross-functional team members this role will develop processes, controls and standards for product development, manufacturing, and packing processes. Additionally, the role will be responsible for improving ergonomics, safety, automation, facilities layout and flow improvements. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to influence and guide others in the decision making processes throughout product/project life-cycle.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyze Value Streams to identify projects and process changes to eliminate non-value added activities while improving quality.
  • Identifies and implements improvements to manufacturing production rates, efficiencies, yields, costs and changeovers.
  • Resolving daily abnormalities in the manufacturing process.
  • Drive effective process development and standardization efforts across the company.
  • Partner with quality and applications development to ensure implementation of effective new product solutions.
  • Develop and implement systems that optimize all phases of production process.
  • Support manufacturing with root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for customer complaints.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • BS degree in Engineering or related technical field.
  • 5+ years of related experience.
  • Excellent computer/software skills, including CAD and solid modeling packages.

Production Line Packer


LOCATION: Cleveland, Ohio

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Packs, inspects and cases product according to manufacturing and customer specifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Packs product according to established packing procedures; inspects for quality, pattern and randomality
  • Counts product, checks labels and tags for accuracy; inserts literature; folds and assembles boxes
  • Exercises proper care in the use of tools, equipment and materials
  • Observes all prescribed safety rules and regulations and maintains work area in a neat and orderly condition
  • Operates equipment in a safe manner

SUMMARY OF POSITION

We are looking for an experienced staff Housekeeper to add to our general office maintenance staff. This individual would work independently within a daily schedule to assure that all offices, cubicles, and common areas are cleaned and maintained in a professional manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide general cleaning to common eating areas and rest rooms in the executive office area
  • Keep eating areas free of trash and litter, and remove it from the area
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum floors in the executive office area
  • May assist with event planning such as sign posting and food/coffee prep
